My son just turned 16.

He is an amazing young man, but he is not at all who he wants to be.

So, as with anything we set goals.  These are the words he has chosen to describe himself when he is a man.  We have placed these words around our dining room and in his bedroom so he can be reminded of who he wants to be so he can begin being that NOW!

I am also praying these words over him and I invite you to do the same.

Ah, love it! My husband and I were just talking this weekend about praying more intentionally and specifically for our kids. What a simple way to incorporate more specifics, just by praying words and attributes over them. :) Thanks, as always, for sharing your heart and practical wisdom!

What a cool idea! Man, this world would be a different place if we all posted a list of words of who we wanted to be, and lived our life based on those words, and not all the negative ones that get played out.

Awesome, girl!

Ooooh, I like that!

My husband prays over our boys at night specifically for their Spiritual gifts to be manifest in their lives.

I prayed for you yesterday! You were probably just getting out of or ending church.

Blessings!

Janet
