I love the "connectedness" of blogging.  How this person shares that, which then helps her, which all ties back and all points to HIM!!

My heart is LEAPING with joy as I am reading the story of The Piper Adoption.

I was introduced through Erin @ Ekirabo:The Gift she is a neat adoptive momma!

Well, the story is written in parts and I thought I had got to the end of all she had written so far because the "next" link was missing. Well, NOPE! There was more and the LORD had to wait until later in the day to show it to me.  It was the BEST part so far!  The part where her husband, John Piper, writes her a letter with his answer regarding adoption.

It was SOOOOO incredibly encouraging to me.  It is long but BEAUTIFUL! As my family prays about, avoids, hopes, cowers, wishes, dreams about what to do, or not, regarding growing our family... I pray my husband can one day say something like this:

"I want to thank you that during these years, when your heart has yearned to adopt a daughter, you have not badgered me or coerced me. You have been wonderfully patient. You have modeled faith in the sufficiency of prayer. You have always expressed support of me and my ministry even if we should never adopt. You have been reasonable in all our discussions and have come forth with your extensive rationale only when asked. You have honored my misgivings as worthy of serious consideration."

I have tears now as I write this just being overwhelmed with THANKFULNESS that people take the time to blog and tell their story.

One of my new bestest bloggy friends, Janet always does Thankful Thursday posts. Here is my first!

1. I am thankful for bloggers that put their life out there for the world to see
2. Adoptive Families
3. My children yet to come (by faith)
4. God's faithfulness and provision
5. The ultimate adoption into God's Family!

For you did not receive the spirit of bondage again to fear, but you received the Spirit of adoption by whom we cry out, “Abba, Father.” Romans 8:15

I'd love to adopt someday... a daughter. I wouldn't mind have another one, too.

Waiting on God...........

Blessings to you this day.
