Well, after my PUSH, last blog to help those in El Salvador, I almost thought I couldn't ask you to give $10 more dollars. That would be too much in one day... and as I was processing, I felt ridiculous! OF COURSE I CAN ASK!

TODAY is a ONE DAY PUSH to get everyone to give their first gift: WATER FOR CHRISTMAS

Every day, 4500 mothers bury their children due to contaminated water. They are forced to sustain their families with a diabolical liquid that contains both life and death. This lack of clean water is the leading cause of death in underdeveloped nations. And it just doesn't have to be!

So as we gear up to scurry through department stores and browse endless catalogs in search of new jeans, Tonka Trucks, gadgets and dolls....we are pausing. We are pausing. And today, November 13th, we are buying water. Clean, life-saving water.

$10 will provide one person in Africa clean water for 10 years. It will literally change and possibly save someone's life. A mother. A child. A brother. A grandfather.

We are rallying together for a cause. Clean water. One day. $10. Asking everyone to let this be their first gift. Let water, let life be their first gift of the season.

Click here to be directed to the secure donation site of the highly recognized, non-profit, charity: water (then click Yellow Donate Button) All donations are tax deductible, and 100% of your donation will go to clean water solutions in West Africa.

You remember me talking about the AMAZING Water 4 Christmas team? Jody, Amy, Cassie and the rest of the girls in Iowa. LOVE these girls and their passion for water. Well....it's that time again!
You ready to kick off the Christmas season? yes, I know it's not even Thanksgiving...but it's time to bring some Christmas HOPE to the people of Liberia who desperately need water. In all of our holiday preparations...for both Christmas and Thanksgiving the one thing that stands out in American holidays is the presence of FOOD and lots of it. Can you imagine if your one wish for Christmas was clean water so that maybe, just maybe your little girl would live past 5.

Give. Today. $10. Pass it on...its a one day push!!!! Don't wait. Feel free to copy and post this or I've included the email from Jody beneath. PS check out their site and especially their etsy shop for some SUPER cute Christmas gifts...make your $10 donation...then go buy your first 10 Christmas presents and make a difference!!!

It's time again.
We just uploaded pictures to this page of some the faces who received the gift of clean water this year due to the efforts of those who bought Water For Christmas in 2008.

Thousands have been helped, their lives changed. But we're not done...

Last year, we encouraged people to give $10 on Friday's.
This year, we are only doing it only once. One day. 24 hours.
So this Friday, November 13, we are raising our voice and buying Water. Encouraging everyone to let their first gift of the season be life.

We would love for you all to join us. $10 will give one person clean water for 10 years. Collectively, the impact could be huge.

As always, all donations go directly to charity: water, are tax-deductible, and 100% goes directly to water solutions.

I am in love with your blog! It's so warm and feels so necessary (unlike some other blogs I've been on!)! We desire to reach out to missions and be a part too over at our blog and I was wondering if every now and then we can feature a mission that you're reaching for or have already done? I love this water for Christmas one! My church does something like this, where every year we raise money to put a well in a village in Africa. Outstanding! You can respond back to us in comment or email (onemessage.onefaith@gmail.com) Thank you so much for being obedient and lighting a fire in the lot of us who think global issues aren't our problem! Awesome! I'll be back...
