As I journey down the steps "Lord, will you redeem the years the locusts ate?" Tears well. God, strollers, teenagers, families, etc. overwhelm me with a feeling of loss and hope. Will you redeem the years...?

Sitting-you know where-Lord in Your word-Where are the locusts? Where to find this story? You lead me to page 502 in my bible. Marked by a feather-Psalm 91-I read-not it-but above... there was Psalm 90 10b-17:

But even the best years are filled with pain and trouble; soon they disappear,
and we fly away. Who can comprehend the power of your anger? Your
wrath is as awesome as the fear you deserve. Teach us to realize the
brevity of life, so that we may grow in wisdom. O Lord, come back to us!
How long will you delay? Take pity on your servants! Satisfy
us each morning with your unfailing love, so we may sing for joy to the end of
our lives. Give us gladness in proportion to our former misery!
Replace the evil years with good. Let us, your servants, see you work
again; let our children see your glory. And may the Lord our God show us
his approval and make our efforts successful. Yes, make our efforts
successful!

Weeping, weeping! Rejoicing God, that in a stall, on the toilet, in Orlando, FL... YOU SPEAK TO ME!!

I hate it when God speaks to me on the toilet...or the shower? No weaker or more humble state to catch us crazy humans, eh?
