Maybe you know that I follow a few adoption blogs about Ugandan adoption.
Maybe you know I am a PRAYER WARRIOR!
Well if you didn't, then now you do!
In February:
I told you about a family that needed a MIRACLE!
Many families in fact...
A time of corporate prayer was organized and "The Call" was AMAZING!
Well, it's MARCH and:
One family is home... but another is NOT!
I read this post today and NOTHING else has been on my mind:
Attacks Keep Coming
He said:
The thing the devil doesn’t know or is failing to see is that I serve an even bigger God! An awe-inspiring, mountain-moving, gasp-giving, wonder-working, all powerful God that loves me and is taking care of me here. Yes, I was discouraged. Yes, I wallowed a bit in my own self-pity. Yes, I was angry (still am a bit) BUT then God picked me up, brushed me off and told me to “keep on”.
All I kept thinking is my brother is battling! He is under attack! I need him to know he is not alone! Jesus please help him see he is not alone. I feel a responsibility to battle with him in prayer!
I went on about my morning and in the shower this "tune" was dancing in my head and I could not "think" of the lyrics I new bits and pieces and I had to come and find the song...
Well, if you have read my blog very long you will not be surprised when I say:
IT BLEW ME AWAY
I want you to know his story, I want you to care. I can't make you. But I invite you...
Tomorrow is my ifast58 day. I don't usually publicize it, but I am inviting you to join me tomorrow if you feel led to fast and pray for James & his family.
In whatever way you see fit...between you and God. Please consider THIS family!
If you would like to participate in our weekly corporate prayer call-you are welcome to!
Join us tomorrow morning first thing for a time of corporate prayer. I promise, you'll be blessed! Wednesdays 9:30 AM (eastern) at CALL IN # : 760- 569- 9000 ID: 968101
Brandi always posts the requests from participating organizations on Wednesdays: HERE
What can our faith do?
Bring a father and his two babies home...Prayerfully so!
To God be the glory!
What Faith Can Do by Kutless
lyrics:
Everybody falls sometimes
Gotta find the strength to rise
From the ashes and make a new beginning
Anyone can feel the ache
You think it’s more than you can take
But you are stronger, stronger than you know
Don’t you give up now
The sun will soon be shining
You gotta face the clouds
To find the silver lining
I’ve seen dreams that move the mountains
Hope that doesn’t ever end
Even when the sky is falling
And I’ve seen miracles just happen
Silent prayers get answered
Broken hearts become brand new
That’s what faith can do
It doesn’t matter what you’ve heard
Impossible is not a word
It’s just a reason for someone not to try
Everybody’s scared to death
When they decide to take that step
Out on the water
It’ll be alright
Life is so much more
Than what your eyes are seeing
You will find your way
If you keep believing
I’ve seen dreams that move the mountains
Hope that doesn’t ever end
Even when the sky is falling
And I’ve seen miracles just happen
Silent prayers get answered
Broken hearts become brand new
That’s what faith can do
Overcome the odds
You don't have a chance
(That’s what faith can do)
When the world says you can’t
It’ll tell you that you can!
I’ve seen dreams that move the mountains
Hope that doesn’t ever end
Even when the sky is falling
And I’ve seen miracles just happen
Silent prayers get answered
Broken hearts become brand new
That’s what faith can do
That's what faith can do!
Even if you fall sometimes
You will have the strength to rise

Ooh...I love that song! And I love the orphans too. Yes, I will fast tomorrow! What strength they have shown in the face of what looks to be defeat. Strength, and faith in the great I AM!
I will be praying for James and his little two boys!!!
Thanks for sharing about their situation.
I know prayer can move mountains...
I know God will bring them home!!!
Please keep us posted!!!
I'm praying!
Praying with you!!
Hugs, andrea
Because of my condition I cannot fast, but know tears have been shed, hope is high, and prayers have been sent up for this family! Reminds me of an African hymn called "Move, Mountain Move."
